To Generate Work Environments Free of All Forms of Discrimination

TV Azteca Launches Its Gender Unit

TV Azteca launched its Gender Unit as part of its transformation process. This area will review and deal with all cases of complaints about violence, harassment, and discrimination inside the company, to strengthen an environment free of violence by creating awareness among all its associates.

TV Azteca CEO Benjamín Salinas underlined, “TV Azteca’s most audacious and important cultural step forward is making it a company free of all harassment and abuse.” He also reiterated the commitment to achieving “work environments that are safer for all, particularly women, who are the driving force and pillar of the company.”

The Gender Unit will be headed by Jaqueline L’Hoist Tapia, former president of Mexico City’s Council for the Prevention and Elimination of Discrimination; she has been widely recognized for her work promoting human rights and non-discrimination.

TV Azteca is transforming itself, looking toward the future, to become a more agile, dynamic, courageous company, where the environment is one of trust and security, free of harassment and discrimination.
